Shannon was one of the first film students in USC's budding virtual production program. She later became involved in research and development with The USC Entertainment Technology Center, which tests new film tech via special projects. This sandbox provided a wonderful learning space as Shannon produced and worked as an artist on these VP films. Shannon admires the ability to explore environments and worlds through VP. She also appreciates that this tech allows one to visit a snowy mountain or arid jungle from the comfort of a thermostat-controlled room.
